If you're a fan of World of Warcraft, you're probably familiar with the joy of earning cosmetic rewards. With the recent addition of Patch 10.0.5, the Trading Post has been introduced to Dragonflight, which offers an exciting new feature for players.
What is the Trading Post?
The Trading Post is a place where you can use Trader's Tender, a new account-wide currency, to purchase unique cosmetic rewards. The shop is updated monthly, offering new and exciting items for players to discover. You can earn Trader's Tender in several ways, including collecting a free 500 tender from a chest at your faction's Trading Post, completing monthly challenges in the Traveler's Log, or receiving special bonuses for completing the Trading Post intro quest or purchasing Dragonflight. You can earn up to 1,000 Trader's Tender every month, and any unused currency will carry over to the following month.
The Adventure Guide now includes a Traveler's Log tab, where you can view available challenges and track your progress towards earning Trader's Tender. Each month, several themed challenges are available, ranging from simple tasks like emoting at another player or changing your appearance, to defeating certain bosses or players, with rewards ranging from 50-200 Trader's Tender.
Trading Post Location and Rewards
The Trading Post is located in Stormwind and Orgrimmar for the Alliance and Horde, respectively, and the Collector's Cache is where you collect your Trader's Tender.
The Trading Post offers exclusively cosmetic rewards, including new and previously store-exclusive items like the Celestial Steed. Every month, rewards rotate, and you can "freeze" one reward to purchase it after it rotates out of the shop, ensuring you don't miss out on a particular item.
In addition to the Trading Post rewards, there's a special monthly reward for completing the Traveler's Log progress bar. For example, the exclusive reward for March 2023 is the Darkmoon Harlequin's Bells Outfit. Reaching 100% progress for your Traveler's Log bar for the month automatically unlocks this special reward. With the Trading Post, World of Warcraft players have a new way to earn cosmetic rewards and show off their style in-game.
